Who benefits from this event?
Profits from Pug-O-Ween will be donated to White Oak Animal Safe Haven.
How much does it cost to attend Pug-O-Ween?
Pittsburgh PugFest does not charge an admission to come to Pug-O-Ween. A $5 or more donation is suggested so that we can make a donation to White Oak Animal Safe Haven.
Is Pug-O-Ween for pugs only?
While the majority of dogs in attendance will be pugs, other breeds are permitted. We ask that you do not bring any aggressive dogs or dogs that are not up to date with their vaccinations.
What do I do if my dog goes to the bathroom?
If you forget to bring your “poop bags” with you, Pug-O-Ween may have a surplus of bags. Each person is responsible for picking up after their pet.
Will the dogs be able to run off-leash?
No. Dogs must remain leashed at all times.
How can I volunteer for the event?
We are currently looking for volunteer organizers as well as for volunteers for the day of the event. If you are interested, please visit the volunteer page.
My pug just had puppies. May I bring them to sell at Pug-O-Ween?
No. There will be no selling or purchasing of any animal on the fairgrounds under any circumstance.
How old does my dog have to be to attend Pug-O-Ween?
Dogs must be at least six months in age to attend Pug-O-Ween. Young dogs do not have all of the proper vaccinations and we want to ensure that all dogs are happy and healthy!
Where will I sit at Pug-O-Ween?
There will be limited seating under the pavilion at Pug-O-Ween. Please bring a folding chair from home if you would like a seat on the grounds.
