About Pittsburgh Pug Fest
Pittsburgh PugFest is a fun-tastic gathering of pugs and small breed dogs that is held on an annual basis. Pittsburgh PugFest is a non-profit charity with Federal tax exempt status under Sec. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We are an all volunteer group dedicated to fund raising for animal shelters and rescues. We want to raise awareness of animals in need and responsible breeding practices. It is an unfortunate fact that the most animals are given up due to illness, abuse or neglect. Please help break the cycle rescue or adopt do not purchase from puppy mills and always check out a breeder before you purchase.
Mission Statement:
Sole purpose of the association is to hold various charitable events to raise money for local animal shelters and rescues in accordance with 501(c)(3) of the Internal revenue Code.
Pittsburgh PugFest is a not-for-profit charity organized under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania.
This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including, but not limited to, fund-raising and the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt under Section 501 ( c ) (3) of the Internal Revenue code, or the corresponding section of any future tax code.
Rules and Important Information for Pittsburgh PugFest Events
- Please ensure that your dog is current on Rabies, Distemper and Bortadella vaccinations.
- Chairs will not be provided, please bring a chair from home.
- You are responsible for your dog! Please bring your own your own leashes, play pens, water dishes, etc.
- You must clean up after your dog.
- All dogs must remain leashed at all times.
- There will be no selling or purchasing of any animal on the grounds under any circumstances.
- Please do not bring puppies under 6 months of age, because they are not fully vaccinated. This will keep your puppy safe and healthy!
